Readers sound off on the Statue of Liberty protest, tariffs and fur farms

Coram, L.I.: What was the judge thinking, releasing that showboating woman without bail after she risked policemen’s lives, disrupted 4,500 people’s Fourth of July at the Statue of Liberty, and forced the closing of the symbol of our country? If she had pulled a stunt like that in the Democratic Republic of Congo, her punishment might have been more than a brief trip to jail. We will probably get to see her as a star on “American Ninja Warrior.” With the mindset of liberal judges, God help this country. Arlene Reilly
