A man jumped out of a moving car on a Queens highway to escape his drunk-driving girlfriend – only to be struck and killed by another car early Saturday, cops said.
Arif Hoosein, 30, was riding east in a black 2015 Mercedes-Benz sedan on the Grand Central Parkway in Little Neck when he managed to get out of the slow-moving car near Little Neck Parkway about 4 a.m.
Police believe he got out of the car to get away from his 34-year-old girlfriend Savittrie Beria-Lackhan, who was allegedly drunk.
Hoosein had just gotten out of the car when he was struck by a black Nissan Sentra also traveling east, cops said.
Medics rushed the victim, who lived in Bellerose about a mile and a half from where he was struck, to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he died, officials said.
Both Beria-Lackhan and the Sentra driver remained at the scene, police said.
Beria-Lackhan, of South Ozone Park, was taken into custody and charged with DWI. Her arraignment was pending in Queens Criminal Court.
The 39-year-old man driving the Nissan faces no immediate charges, cops said.
