Gunman kills man with four bullets to chest outside Queens park

A gunman blasted a 21-year-old man to death as he sat in a parked car with his friends near a Queens park early Monday, police said.

The shooter opened fire on the driver, striking him four times in the chest across the street from the Phil (Scooter) Rizzuto Park along 125th St. and 95th St. in Richmond Hill, cops said.

First responders rushed the man to Jamaica Hospital after the 3:30 a.m. 911 call, but he could not be saved.

The passengers in the car were not hurt in the shooting.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweater before fleeing the site of the shooting.

Police believe the shooting could be drug related.
