Odell Beckham is teaming up with Johnny Manziel again.
The former Browns quarterback, who last played in the NFL in 2015, tweeted a clip of himself throwing a football to Beckham inside a training facility with the caption, “Deadly combination.”
Tagged in the tweet was Jamal Liggin, Beckham’s personal trainer based in Los Angeles.
Beckham brought Manziel to work out with Liggin last offseason, too, while skipping voluntary Organized Team Activities to train with the quarterback bust.
Johnny Manziel receives contract offer from CFL team
Beckham is attempting to return to full strength from a season-ending ankle injury that required surgery in October.
On Monday morning, Beckham’s new head coach Pat Shurmur said he reached out to the wide receiver and thought he was “inspired to get ready to have a really good year.”
Manziel, meanwhile, is attempting to make a comeback in the Canadian Football League. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats offered Manziel a two-year deal three weeks ago but talks don’t appear to have progressed since then. Manziel’s agent has given the team until Jan. 31 for the two sides to come to an agreement.
