Giants add B.J. Goodson to team’s long injured reserve list

Giants linebacker B.J. Goodson was placed on the injured reserve Wednesday, officially ending his season.

Goodson, who most recently was battling an ankle injury, joins Landon Collins as the second defensive starter to be placed on IR this week and 22nd player on the team this season.

Goodson had difficulty staying on the field all season after opening the season with 18 tackles against the Cowboys.
