Ex-Giants WR Amani Toomer wants to bring medical marijuana dispensary to N.J., talks Eli Manning, Saquon Barkley and the O-Line with The News

“Some of the opiods and dangerous painkillers that are highly-addictive is something I steered clear of on purpose while I was playing,” Toomer said while representing Tuesday’s Children at the annual BGC Charity Day, a part of the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, which pays homage to those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. “The plant’s been around forever. The fact that it’s not addictive — you could take the THC out and make it CBD (cannabidiol), so it’s not psychoactive.”
