If you experience an episode of déjà vu in reading this list, you are not imagining things. The Seton Hall-Providence game was on this list yesterday, too. It was suspended Wednesday night because of condensation on the floor at the Dunkin Donuts Center. Seton Hall was leading 56-47 with 13:03 remaining in the second half. The game will be resumed this afternoon at Alumni Hall.
At least Providence hasn’t lost yet. Several teams near the cut-line of the bracket took losses last night, including Texas at Kansas State and Penn State at home to Michigan. Syracuse, Louisville and Florida all lost as well, but to top 16 teams, so those are less damaging.
Virginia Tech picked up the biggest win of the night in a 65-58 win over Clemson in Blacksburg. This is the third loss in a row for the Tigers, and while none of those are especially bad losses, you have to wonder if the absence of Donte Grantham is finally taking a toll.
