Live from New York, it’s Alex Rodriguez.
The former Yankees third baseman, who continues to miraculously reimage himself since suing Major League Baseball in 2013, made an appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”
Fellow retired athlete turned broadcaster Charles Barkley was hosting the show’s return episode from a winter break.
Rodriguez joined the NBA legend on a skit revolving around Keenan Thompson playing a famous retired athlete.
The fake show, “The Champions,” had Thompson’s character D.C. Timmons delivering most of the nonsensical punch lines.
Rodriguez, despite his television experience, was barely able to keep a straight face during his camera time.
Maybe he’s been spending too much time around Jimmy Fallon.
Olympic star Hilary Knight, who won gold with Team USA’s hockey squad, joined cast member Leslie Jones later in the night for “Weekend Update.”
She gloated about all the gold medals snagged by females in Pyeongchang.
“Who runs the world,” Jones and Knight bellowed together. “Girls,” anchor Colin Jost replied, without enthusiasm.
Knight then called Jost, who earlier had told Jones he knows a thing or two about hockey, “a bitch.”
