The Jets, of course, signed Terrelle Pryor to a one-year deal this offseason. They have second-year receivers ArDarius Stewart and Chad Hansen, whom Maccagnan took in the third and fourth rounds, respectively, last season. Then there’s former second-round pick Devin Smith, who’s coming off his second ACL tear to the same knee, and third-year man Charone Peake, a key special teams contributor who missed nearly all of last year with an ankle injury. The Jets are unlikely to keep more than six wide receivers, so it’s possible two of these players won’t be on the roster come September. This is an intriguing battle.
