The Museum of Pizza — an interactive experience dedicated to everyone’s favorite cheesy, saucy carb — is opening its doors in New York City this October.
The yet-to-be-revealed location is touting itself as “a space to bask in multi-sensory, psychedelic pizza joy” where each guest will be served at least one slice.
But the museum stresses that the exhibit is “dedicated to the art, culture and fun” of pizza — not the eating of it. It will feature treats for “all five senses,” including a pizza artists “gallery, pizza cave, beach, games and fun house.
“We love pizza so much we created #MoPi, the museum for it,” the museum said. “A place to take amazing photos and absorb every wonder of our larger-than-life, immersive installations. A space to bask in multi-sensory, psychedelic pizza joy.”
And it’s for a good cause. The #MoPi will donate a portion of every $35 ticket purchased towards a meal for a family in need.
The Museum of Pizza will be open for three weeks from October 13 until October 28.
