Mets’ Noah Syndergaard shows off full repertoire in Cyclones rehab game, addresses trade talk

Making his first rehab start since landing on the disabled list in late May with a strained ligament in his right index finger, Syndergaard, wearing a white No. 34 Brooklyn Cyclones jersey, allowed one run on two hits in five innings while striking out seven against the Staten Island Yankees. His fastball sat at 98 mph and topped out at 99. He threw 71 pitches, 46 of them for strikes, and utilized his full repertoire — four-seam, sinker, changeup, slider and curveball.
