Further growth planned for 2018
Newcastle, June 14th, 2018: Local technology business donr (www.donr.com) has now increased its workforce to ten employees and is planning to take on more people as it continues its growth in 2018.

The tenth employee was Alexandra Fearon who has taken on the role as Marketing Manager, overseeing donr’s marketing strategy and assisting charities with the marketing of their donr crowdfunding campaigns.
“It’s a great team to work with and we’re working on some exciting technology and really interesting clients,” said Alexandra. “I’m the newest member of the team right now, but one of the reasons I joined is that I can see how much potential the company has to grow quickly. I’m sure it won’t be long before I’ll be considered an old hand and I start to train more new team members.”
Alex is already the third hire of 2018, as the team has grown by nearly 50% in the first six months of the year from seven to ten employees.
Other recent hires include ex Newcastle University graduates Samantha Lade and Callum Patterson.
“I knew after graduation that I wanted to stay in Newcastle and find a job related to the charity sector, so the role was perfect for me,” said Samantha.
“Newcastle has some really exciting tech firms now,” said Callum “But seeing the difference donr could make to charity’s fundraising efforts really made me want to work with them.”
donr specialises in helping charities to create and launch their own crowdfunding pages online. The team offers a range of skills, from copywriting, to design, to assisting with digital marketing strategy for the charity or good cause.
Using donr a charity or good cause can quickly and easily have high-quality, bespoke crowdfunding pages, which include seamless text message, credit card and Apple Pay donation options. This increases their visibility and makes it easier for them to raise the funds they need.
donr has spun out of one of the region’s tech success stories – and a Sunday Times Tech Track 100 Top Ten Business in 2015 – ImpulsePay. Since relocating back to Newcastle from London in 2015 the business has continued to grow, innovate and evolve.
“We see further expansion on the horizon as we bring in more investment and continue our growth,” said CEO Chris Newell. “We have a great team that is developing our technology and we are starting to grow our client base.”
